What we collect

When you order: your name, email address, shipping address, what you bought, any personalization text, and the order's payment status. Your payment card details go directly to our payment processor, Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.

When you request a commission or contact us: your name, email and whatever you write to us, including the location of your lake.

When you visit: our web server keeps standard logs — IP address, browser type, the pages requested and when — for security and to keep the site running. The 3D viewer runs in your browser and may remember its own settings on your device. We do not use advertising trackers or sell-side analytics pixels.

How we use it

To make, ship and support your order; to answer your messages; to send you a photo of your finished piece and shipping notices; to prevent fraud; and to keep the site secure. If you buy from us we may occasionally email you about new lakes or products — every such email has an unsubscribe link, and we will stop the moment you use it.

Who we share it with

Only the people who help us fulfil your order: Stripe (payment), the carrier that ships your package (name and address), and the hosting and email providers that run the site. We share information with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.

Cookies

The site uses only the cookies and browser storage needed to work: a session for checkout, and preferences in the 3D viewer. Stripe's checkout page sets its own cookies under its own policy. You can block cookies in your browser; checkout may not work if you do.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for seven years for tax and warranty purposes. Server logs are kept for 90 days. Commission requests that do not become orders are deleted after one year. You can ask us to delete anything sooner, subject to what we must keep by law.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and other states with privacy laws have those rights in law; we extend them to everyone. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI Level 1 processor. Order data is stored on access-controlled servers. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will tell you as the law requires.
