The lake

About Lake Havasu

Lake Havasu was formed in 1938 by Parker Dam on the Colorado River, about 19,000 acres and 90 feet deep on the Arizona–California line. Lake Havasu City was founded in 1963 by Robert McCulloch, who bought London Bridge in 1968, shipped it over stone by stone, and rebuilt it across a channel he dug for the purpose.
