About Brant Lake

Brant Lake covers about 1,522 acres in Warren County, New York, up to 65 feet deep with more than 16 miles of shoreline and five islands, in the eastern Adirondacks between Lake George and Schroon Lake. It drains out through the Brant Lake Outlet into the Schroon River, and the hamlet of Brant Lake sits along its shore, mostly camps and small resorts rather than a built-up town. Bass and trout fishing, sailing camps, and a state boat launch make it a working recreation lake rather than a landmark one — smaller and quieter than its bigger Adirondack neighbors.

On the board
  • 10 shore towns named, with a star on each
  • 344 roads engraved around the shore, 1 of them labeled
  • 6 depth layers, each step engraved with its depth in feet
  • Compass rose, title block with coordinates, max depth and area; keyhole hanger on the back
Why we cut this one
Brant Lake is one of the lakes people ask us for by name — the kind of shoreline where the house has a name and the dock has a history. This board is cut from the same depth grid the configurator uses for all 104,419 lakes, so the shape is the real one.
