About Lake Luzerne
Lake Luzerne is a small lake on the west side of the town of the same name, in Warren County, New York, where the Sacandaga River meets the Hudson just above Rockwell Falls — the narrowest stretch of the entire Hudson River. Lake George and Warrensburg are a short drive away, and the town has long drawn a quieter summer crowd than its famous neighbor. It's home to the Double H Ranch, the camp for seriously ill children that Paul Newman co-founded, and the Luzerne Music Center, which has trained young classical musicians here since the 1970s.
