About Lake Harmony
Lake Harmony sits in Kidder Township, Carbon County, in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, with the lakeside village of the same name built up as a summer colony by the early 1900s — early accounts describe cottages going up for vacationers from Mauch Chunk (now Jim Thorpe) and Allentown. Split Rock Lodge, on the lake's shore, started as a private retreat for executives of the Lehigh Coal and Navigation Company before opening to the public; it burned in 1970, was rebuilt, and today operates as Split Rock Resort. Most of the housing around the lake is still seasonal, and boating and fishing remain the draw.

Four sizes: 12, 17, 24 and 30 inches on the long side, from $149. Every size is cut from the same depth data of Lake Harmony; the bigger boards carry more shoreline roads and place names.
Is it made from real depth data?
Yes. Lake Harmony is cut layer by layer from published bathymetric soundings — each layer of birch is a depth contour, so the shape of the bottom is the real one, not decorative.
Can I add my own place on it?
Yes. At checkout you can add a line under the title (a family name, a cabin name, a year) and star the spot on the shore that matters to you.
