About Colter Bay Campground

Colter Bay sits on the northeast shore of Jackson Lake inside Grand Teton National Park, run by the National Park Service with the campground itself operated through the park's longtime concessioner. It's one of the larger drive-in campgrounds in the park system, its loops laid out through lodgepole pine a short walk from the marina and swim beach.

Campers come for lake access above all: a marina with rentals and guided cruises, a swimming beach, and trailheads nearby leading toward Hermitage Point and the shoreline. The village adjoining the campground has a general store and visitor center, and the town of Jackson lies south down the highway. Evening ranger talks at the amphitheater are a regular draw for families staying multiple nights.
