About Seven Points Campground
Seven Points sits on the southern end of Raystown Lake, a reservoir the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers built across the Juniata River valley in Huntingdon County. The campground occupies a peninsula near Hesston, not far from the Raystown Lake Visitor Center, with twenty campground roads winding through the woods above the shoreline. It's one of the largest Corps-run campgrounds in Pennsylvania.
Campers come for the swimming beach, the boat launch, and evening ranger programs at the amphitheater, along with miles of hiking trails through the surrounding hills. The 269-acre grounds stay busy through summer with families who return to the same loop year after year. Nearby Hesston and Huntingdon supply groceries and gas, but the campground itself feels remote, tucked into the ridges above the lake.
