About Cass Lake

Cass Lake is the largest lake in Oakland County, Michigan, sitting mostly within Waterford Township and covering more than 1,200 acres with depths exceeding 100 feet in its deepest basin. Dodge #4 State Park, one of Michigan's oldest state parks, sits on its southeast shore, and the lake connects by channel to the smaller Sylvan Lake next door. Its size and depth support a strong muskie and walleye fishery, and its position just northwest of Pontiac makes it one of the busiest boating lakes in the Detroit metro area.
