About Elk Lake
Elk Lake near Elk Rapids, Michigan, is the last lake in the Elk River Chain of Lakes before it empties into Grand Traverse Bay, about 9 miles long and 192 feet deep — the second-deepest inland lake in the state. It shares the Torch Lake blue and the Old Mission Peninsula's cherry country.
