About Hamlin Lake
Hamlin Lake is the largest artificial lake in Michigan, formed behind a dam on the Sable River within what is now Ludington State Park, with the current concrete dam dating to 1914. The lake covers about 5,350 acres in two connected basins — a deeper lower lake reaching nearly 80 feet and a shallower upper lake — divided by a narrows a few miles north of Ludington. Its position inside a state park known for its Lake Michigan dune trails makes it one of the more scenic paddling and fishing lakes on the west side of the state.

Yes. Hamlin Lake is cut layer by layer from published bathymetric soundings — each layer of birch is a depth contour, so the shape of the bottom is the real one, not decorative.
Can I add my own place on it?
