About Joslin Lake
Joslin Lake sits in the lake-dotted country of southeastern Michigan, a region carved by retreating glaciers that left behind thousands of small kettle and moraine lakes across Washtenaw and Livingston counties. At roughly 217 acres, Joslin is a modest example of that pattern, ringed by year-round homes and cottages rather than public beaches or marinas. With about two miles of shoreline enclosing its 217 acres, Joslin Lake has a compact, roughly oval footprint typical of the smaller lakes scattered through this part of Michigan.
