The lake
About Table Rock Lake
Table Rock Lake was created in 1958 by Table Rock Dam on the White River in the Missouri Ozarks, just upstream of Branson. It covers about 43,000 acres with nearly 800 miles of shoreline and depths to 220 feet, and its water is clear enough to be a serious scuba destination.
Kimberling City, Branson West and the Arkansas end near Eureka Springs are the shore towns; the Shepherd of the Hills country of Harold Bell Wright's novel lies along its north side.
